The rest is basically up to you and there are many ways in which you can fund your education. The easiest way would be to get a part-time job during summer. Of course if her parents invested in financial plans such as a 529 plan then it will of course be cheaper for you to go to college since you will have funds that were saved by her parents. In any doubt you should never keep this to yourself.

As a student help is available almost anywhere so never hesitate. If you problem regarding your financial situation you can go see her parents, the school administration or even friends. If you have study problems you can ask your teacher, friends or find counseling in that field to help you. Bottom line is there is so much help available to you that there is almost no reasons for you to fail any courses.

For most people college is more than just a degree, it's your path to a future with a career. Being more and more available throughout the country there is no reason for you not to try applying for college if you can. It would be a waste to skip college when you're so close to finishing your studies. As a college student there are even incentives to encourage you to keep studying but you'll know about that some other time.
